We contacted Dr Thakur to get answers for our 16 year old daughter who felt she had ASD.  Dr Thakur responded very quickly to our initial enquiry and dealt with every step in a professional and timely manner.  We felt very comfortable with Dr Thakur and her team who were kind and friendly, all our questions were answered thoroughly and we always felt we were given as much time as we needed to discuss any concerns.  We received a detailed report with a full explanation and recommendations.  The quick turnaround meant our daughter had a diagnosis within a matter of weeks rather than months as we had been quoted if we followed a different route.  We would be very happy to recommend Dr Thakur and have done so.

Dr Thakur responded swiftly to my initial enquiry and from there, we received a very quick appointment and a thorough assessment for our child, both with and without him. This meant we could discuss all aspects of his problem, not always in earshot of him. She is very knowledgeable in her field and always explains the reasoning behind her questions and findings. We received a lengthy, thorough assessment report and advice on how to progress with our child. We would thoroughly recommend Dr Thakur.

Dr. Thakur is a lovely person with a warm heart. My partner and I were instantly impressed with her sensitivity and responsiveness after our initial correspondence. Her methodical, thorough approach to clearly understand our concerns and subsequent testing helped us clearly diagnose our sons condition. Dr. Thakur was extremely proactive as well to ensure we received answers as quick as possible and was very compassionate where we received a difficult diagnosis. While we work through the ramifications of the diagnosis her communication has been excellent and caring nature and support has enabled us as parents to provide the best support possible for our son moving forwards. I cannot recommend her highly enough and am so grateful she is in our corner supporting our son. We are eternally grateful for your support and wonderful kind nature - Tom and Helen x

Dr Thakur supported our son when he was first given medication for ADHD. She was kind, supportive and clear about what needed to be done to help him. She has clearly given him what he needs because for the first time he has been able to do some homework, sit at a table in school and play with his friends. Thank you!

I am writing as both a professional in an allied field and grandmother of a primary aged child with severe and complex needs. Finding the appropriate Specialist Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician and team to assess and advise was essential; I know that we made the right choice. Caring, thorough and professional, at all times they listened and reflected. They worked flexibly and without delay in order to move things forward swiftly. Guidance was offered for home and for school in an accessible way to help the child reach their potential. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
